Return Inspection Info

Condition of Return, Inspection & Return Refusal:

  • Returns must be in the original, new condition in which it arrived to the customer.
  • Rachel's Promise deals in new, quality merchandise so tags must be fully attached to the product for the return to be accepted.
    If tags are removed the item is no longer eligible for return (Even if the unattached tags are included - they must be attached to the product). Every hanging apparel item is shipped to the customer with tags attached & must be returned in this same condition.
  • All product packaging must be included and in place for folded and boxed items, this includes: shirt packaging, plastic protection bags, muslin garment bags, hangers, etc.  If bags and/or packaging is missing or torn the return will not be accepted; it will be considered used and refused.
  • Please return items in the condition they were sent (reassembled and in original packaging). Reassembling returned merchandise is time consuming and costs us manpower time, as such a $5 fee will be deducted from refund for each item not reassembled.
    Avoid this fee simply by repackaging products or rehanging garments with their protective packaging, garment bags & inner packaging contents. 
  • Rachel's Promise adheres to a strict Quality guideline, we have a rigorous inspection process to ensure that any product we sell or receive has not been worn or damaged. Any signs of wear or use will result in the sale being deemed final and the product returned to the customer.
  • Fees may apply after the return is received if the item is not packaged and assembled properly. Please Click here for fee list.
  • Note that adverse odors such as smoke or food smells will result in return refusal; also any stressed seams or popped buttons from forced fit attempts will be refused.
  • If product fails inspection it will be returned to sender and deemed final sale.
  • Return must have a valid RA# written on the outside of the package; if no valid RA# is visible the return shipment will be refused, unopened and returned to sender.
  • Accessories, clearance, overstock or final sale items cannot be exchanged (view 'Final Sale Item List' below).
  • We only accept returns for exchanges on the same style as originally ordered; no exchanges for another style unless you have received written pre-authorization.
  • Return for refund is only given for approved exchanges; refunds are not offered under any other circumstance.

Final sale items cannot be returned for exchange (including but not limited to):

Shoes, socks, footwear, gloves, headwear, hair accessories, underwear, slips, petticoats, neckties, bow ties, baskets, pillows, dress accessories, suit accessories, gift sets, bibs, blankets, outwear, coats, jackets, boleros, seasonal items, undergarments, cummerbunds, sashes, pins, garment bags, purses, suspenders, any other accessory items, clearance, discontinued, overstock or sale products.

These items cannot be exchanged or returned; their sale is final without exception.
