Exchange Policy Summary:

We are pleased to offer easy 30 day exchanges. To make your exchange please follow our simple, step by step, exchange instructions.

Because of our strict Quality Guidelines and Due to the nature of our apparel, in most cases a one-time wear, special event or seasonal apparel, merchandise is final sale. Enjoy a one-time size or color exchange in the same style on all apparel products within 30 days from receipt of delivery (fees may apply).

Over-order ('dressing room') purchases are not considered an exchange and are not accepted for return (for full details or an explanation of over-order purchases please see the full return policy page). Some items are not available for return exchange please see 'Final Sale Items List' below for details.

Returns must have a valid RA# on the outside of the return package to be accepted. 

Please direct all return and exchange inquiries to the Return's Department, via email only, at We're sorry, telephone representatives cannot authorize returns or exchanges, this must be done by email.

How to Make Your Easy Exchange (easy step by step instructions):

  1. Place a new order for the new size or color needed in the same style. We’re sorry, to avoid confusion and delays we do not ‘swap out’ items; a new order must be placed.
  2. There is no need to enter a coupon code on the new order; your refund will reflect the correct amount. Do not enter a coupon code on the exchange order if one was not entered on the original order.
  3. After placing your new order please request a return authorization number by clicking this link: Return Request Form
  4. We will send you an RA number with return instructions within 1-2 business days. Please follow the instructions in the received email to return your item(s). Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  5. Upon Rachel's Promise receiving a return, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 10-12 business days (Monday-Friday) for the refund to be applied to your payment method. Merchandise credit (if applicable) will be issued by email unless issuance by post is requested.

One-time size or color exchange in the same style on apparel items:

  • Exchanges must be made and the return merchandise must arrive to Rachel's Promise within 30 days from receipt of original item delivery (the day merchandise delivered to you). It is best to request a return within 20 days of the order delivery to allow enough time to return your merchandise within our 30 day time frame.
  • A valid ‘Return Authorization Number’ (RA#) must be written on the outside of return package to ensure acceptance.
  • Product(s) must be returned in original, unworn condition with tags attached and all packaging intact. All merchandise is shipped to our customers with tags attached or with product packaging (for folded & boxed items); returns must arrived to us in this condition. Returns are subject to inspection to ensure original, unused and resalable condition.

Please note: Sections of an outfit or suit cannot be exchanged on a per piece basis. Sets are pre-assembled and pieces cannot be interchanged.

The Entire, Complete Set must be exchanged!

However, if any portion of a set exhibits a manufacturer's defect please file a claim through our Return Request Form or via email at:

Final sale items cannot be returned for exchange (including but not limited to):

Shoes, socks, footwear, gloves, headwear, hair accessories, underwear, slips, petticoats, neckties, bow ties, baskets, pillows, dress accessories, suit accessories, gift sets, bibs, blankets, outwear, coats, jackets, boleros, seasonal items, undergarments, cummerbunds, sashes, pins, garment bags, purses, suspenders, any other accessory items, clearance, discontinued, overstock or sale products.

These items cannot be exchanged or returned; their sale is final without exception.
